“Run That FreeSpirit”

“Run That FreeSpirit” was written to be pure energy — a loud, bold, hard-hitting dance challenge song made to get people moving. This one is not about sitting in the pain. It is about turning the music up, letting the bass hit, and giving people something they can dance to, record, share, and make their own.

For me, this song is about confidence and freedom. It is about walking into the room with energy, attitude, and joy. After writing so many songs about darkness, survival, trauma, and healing, I wanted to create something that felt alive from the first beat. Something fun. Something kids, dancers, and creators could grab onto and turn into a movement.

“Run That FreeSpirit” is built like a challenge — step, drop, clap, spin, pose, and run it back. I wanted the lyrics to feel simple enough for people to remember, but strong enough to hit hard when the bass drops. It is meant to make people smile, move, and feel like they are part of something.

This song still carries the FreeSpirit name, but in a different way. It is not the broken side. It is the glowing side. The fearless side. The side that says, “I made it through the dark, and now I am turning that survival into rhythm.”

“Run That FreeSpirit” is for the dancers, the kids, the creators, the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone who wants to feel bold, free, and unstoppable. It is my way of saying that music can heal, but it can also make you move.

This song is joy with bass.

It is confidence with a beat.

It is FreeSpirit turned all the way up.
